This bright, tart, and delicious classic cocktail first appeared in Judge Jr.’s “Here’s How” little cocktail book in 1927. Subsequent sightings are in Harry Craddock’s 1930 version of The Savoy Cocktail Book and Davis Embury’s Fine Art of Mixing Drinks in 1948.

The Sidecar was created in the 1920’s using brandy as its base. Swap the brandy with Laird’s Apple Brandies for a twist on this classic.

A classic cocktail with a slight blush in color, hence the name Pink Lady. A favorite among high society ladies in the 1950’s.
